We called weeks ago for an appointment for my pregnant wife to see an OBGYN for today at 11:45am and they told us our appointment wasn't finalized and sorry for the confusion. Waited all this time for nothing. This place is horrible you will waste your time if you try to go here.

My son's doctor is fantastic. However Specialty Physicians of Illinois never answer the phone number which is listed here. Endless ringing, and if you call an alternate number specifically for the doctor, it allows you to choose either Genecology or Family Practice, and then it goes to operator, and then the recording says no operator is available. END OF STORY! Ridiculous! If I ran my business that way, I would lose business to my competition. I guess when you are sick, there are only so many places you can go, which is approved by insurance, so they get their piece of the pie, but this is an absolutely HORRIBLE way to do business.

I was very sick for 2 days with severe diarrhea/abdominal pain so on Friday I did the right thing by calling my SPi pcp doctors office at Olympia fields and scheduled a video/phone visit with the PA-C for 3pm Friday. He said I needed an antibiotic and would call into my pharmacy 3 prescriptions. At 5pm I called my pharmacy - no prescriptions called in. So I called the Doctors office right away and they were closed. I called the doctors office answering service hoping they could contact the Pa-c to to get my prescriptions called in since the office would be closed until Monday. The answering service said they could only contact the on-call doctor which happened to be my physician. I said great shes my doctor let her know the PA-C forgot to call in my prescriptions could she call the pharmacy? The answering service called me back and said the doctor said no and I either had to wait until Monday or go to urgent care. I said I want my doctor whos on call to call me back. After a couple of tries the answering service told me they were sorry but my doctor refuses to speak to me. So Saturday morning I went to Chgo. Hts. Urgent care they said I should have cat scan which they dont have so I had to go to Olym. Flds. Emergency room. I was in the E.R. From 10am until 7pm and all I needed was an antibiotic! So I had to spend 2 days and 3-doctors to get one $10 antibiotic because of the failure of my specialty physicians doctors office.
