        The food here is absolutely delicious, and the staff is very friendly. We were there for lunch, and despite my mom not being a fan of sushi or raw food, we decided to order some cooked rolls, Bento and Ramen for the table. Surprisingly, my mom found everything to be delicious and even opened her mind about sushi. Spicy Edamame was a hit to start off. Our server, Nook, was friendly and attentive. We also tried the Spicy Ramen Noodle, and the broth was bursting with flavor. The level of heat was just right, providing a nice kick without overpowering the dish. The portion of pork belly was generous and savory. The only minor critique I have is that the noodles were a bit softer than I prefer, but it didn't diminish our overall enjoyment. We did not have a chance to try Bento because we were so full but brought it back home with us. Considering the quality and portion sizes, the price was reasonable. It's worth noting that they offer a lunch special from 11:30 am to 4 pm, and they also have outdoor seating available. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon.

        I had the lunch special with a side order of takoyaki, had to send the takoyaki twice because the center was ice cold. The rest of the lunch special was cooked adequately. Parking: Park on the side streets for free

        Sagano Sushi is a family run sushi restaurant near downtown Oak Park. There were three in our party and we were all looking forward to midweek sushi. This place is not cheap with an average roll cost over $15. We started with grilled chicken skewers, the spicy crunch tuna roll and Rainbow roll. Son ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. Both were very good and I would recommend both. The Rainbow roll was tasty. crunch on the other hand, was a bit dry. The rolls were very pretty to look at but a bit chewy. I would return again but order something different or maybe another noodle soup.
