My wife and I had a great experience with Cynthia selling our house in Oak Park. We have a good friend who's a realtor in Chicago, but had learned through other people's experience that you really need an Oak Park agent to sell or buy in Oak Park. Cynthia was extremely responsive, starting from her initial visit through closing. She provided great advice and feedback regarding the improvements we needed to make to get top dollar, and strategized with us about how and when to list. We were on vacation in a national park with very limited cell coverage when the showings began, and she handled our absence like the pro she is--including paying out of pocket for a small repair that came up as a result of an inspection. She earned our trust and guided us through some tricky negotiations. We were extremely satisfied with the price we ended up getting for our home of 15 years. I really can't recommend Cynthia and the Beyond Properties team too highly!

Erica Cuneen was amazing! I called her as a 2nd opinion on selling our home & she met with me within an hour. She did an extremely thorough & up to date market evaluation, discussed possible strategies, gave helpful staging suggestions, and was hands on every step of the way. She is incredibly knowledgeable & thoughtful, focused on the big picture, & has a great eye for design. The house sold before it had even hit the open market (after a few days of private listing) at well above asking price. Erica negotiated the details masterfully, connected us with a terrific real estate attorney & local mortgage company, & communicated with us even when she was out of town as needed. Ericas expertise was invaluable in this crazy market. We also used her company to find a home (Michele helped us buy) and we are super thrilled with the way the whole process went.

At age 67, I had no experience with buying a condo. I expected Erica to know the ropes. Well, when she insisted I put down 5% earnest money, I balked! (EX: for a $250,000 home that's $12,500) Her reply: "Trust me". Seller's agent apparently saw that 5% as meaning --- "This buyer really, really wants this condo!!!" and so their reply was to come down just $1,000 from asking price. It was downhill from there. Seller's agent intimidated Erica. Erica never got me a price which reflected the cooled-off July market, that I was a cash buyer, & that this unit was inferior to the comp unit above it which sold in March. She & I were not a "team" ---- she disrespected my comments. I was afraid that Erica would tank the deal if I dumped her. Very disappointed in how I overpaid for this condo.

My experience with Beyond Properties has been nothing but spectacular. Erica and her team are masters of their craft. Anyone that works with this group of realtors can tell that they put everything into their clients, to help achieve their dream home/property. Erica has even checked in with the closing process with me and made sure that I felt satisfied with her business. This shows that she truly cares about her clients and has a passion for the field. I don't really know of many realtors that would go out of their way to make sure that their clients are 100% satisfied. She is a genuine realtor through and through! I will be using them in the future and I strongly recommend Erica and Beyond Properties to anyone looking for a realty group that goes to great lengths to find their new home!
