        My brother and I were one of Dr. Wirtz's 1st orthodontic patients back in the day. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. (I was 13 then if that says anything). His services, along with his staff, are remarkable. I had braces for about 2 years. During that time, I had the headgear (for all those old-timers), and a bar placed in the roof of my mouth to spread the palate. Like I really needed a bigger mouth. to go along with my loud voice. Post braces, I had the upper removable retainer. and the semi-permanent lower retainer. If there were any issues Dr. Wirtz resolved them immediately. My advice to kids is, listen to Dr. Wirtz! Don't chew gum and chips! Oh and floss. Please floss. For the rest of your life. Somewhere in his mouth mold archives, he has the before and after molds of my teeth. They are legendary. Okay, not really. The teeth molds were just crooked teeth with an overbite, and then straight. They are still straight to this day by the way. If I still lived in the area, Dr. Wirtz would have been the chosen orthodontist for my kids. Thank you Dr. Wirtz!
