Came here for something specific and planned on this being a pleasant quick stop. I was asked nicely by a girl with purple hair if I needed help any help, I declined. She was polite and friendly. But thats not my issue. I promptly got what I needed and went to the register. A woman, who was clearly an employee with a headset, was having a personal conversation near the front of the store and registers. I waited for a little, hoping for acknowledgment or assurance of coming assistance, but no one near the front end of the store could even address me with a glance or smile as I waited with my items. After about 5 minutes, I gave up and set my things down and left. As I walked out, I was offered assistance but at that point I was over it. Not used to having any difficulty at the check out phase at Ulta but that prevented my entire purchase.

I found the curling iron I was looking for at Ulta, it was the last one and looked like it was returned. I ask a sales lady if I could plug it in to make sure it worked and she said no Id have to buy it. I then asked for a manager and she said the same thing. Oh well, I guess you can say they saved me $30 because I found it on Amazon cheaper. I was blown away they just couldnt let me make sure it heated up.

This is my favorite Ulta Beauty Store hands down. Every encounter Ive had are all good. They always greet and all the ladies working there are always so friendly and kind.

Helpful staff, clean, well-organized. Parking is a bit chaotic because of all the stores but that's on the mall owner, not Ulta.
