According to my understanding, she was at the register and tried to hand them her bank credit card, they told her that they already had her account. I presume they then got her information to open a card account. She did not know they were doing that.
After paying the bill, we cut up this store card. Its infuriating to see a business take advantage of elderly people. Dont do business with a store like that.
