My friend lives here and has been abused and had his every single need neglected since Bob left. Lisa does nothing but belittle and disrespect the residents in this building. If you love your family, DO NOT let them live here. Medicine is forgotten, given at the wrong times. Residents are threatened with being thrown out over small disagreements when other residents are constantly violent and combative but are allowed to continue their behavior. They promise help with paperwork but refuse to file it after they take it from you. They will make room changes and force your loved ones into uncomfortable or even unsafe situations while your loved one is out and about at appointments or with you. When they show back up, they will be told they have no choice but to submit. They are tyrants. I wouldnt put my worst enemy under the care of these monsters.

Would give less than one star if applicable. Assistant "supervisor" Kelly has to be the nastiest, rudest, most hateful person working in a care facility you can imagine. Not only does she act like doing the absolute bare minimum job that she's paid to do is beneath her, she also gets high while working, you can't walk past her office without smelling the odor of marijuana. "Doctor" Powitz is also a so-called "medical professional" at this facility. It's clear these people get off on power because they have none in their own actual lives, they like to corner residents, and prescribe outdated medication that REAL doctors know are harmful. If you genuinely care about your family members or loved ones, avoid this place!

Maintenance workers get drunk on the daily and reek like alcohol, the entire building stinks like piss, if you even raise your voice they call the police. Personalities from 90% of the staff are disgusting. It's ok for staff to get drunk and high on the job, yet they crackdown on residents like cops.

I work on placing patients with NACC. They have compassion for their clients. They care about their well being. They truly want the best for their clients. They are the diamond in the industry!

North Aurora Care Center is like family to me!! The support from co workers and family members of our residents goes a long way and is definitely felt within NACC!!! From working there for over 15 years, the experience has been like no other! The experiences within the facility helped me greatly with my college education and allowed me to grow in my field! I absolutely adore the residents and enjoy each day that I am able to be there for them!
