Chesterbrook Academy Preschool

I recently had to pull my child out for safety reasons. It has gone under new management and the turnover and quality in staff and teachers has dwindled down. Theyre understaffed so theyre combining older children with smaller children my child was getting hit by the older kids and never received any reports about it. Stopped getting daily reports completely. The care and neglect of care here is very concerning I pulled my child out immediately after an incident that the teacher didnt even notice. Please be aware and look into other places. Its not a healthy safe environment for children. Theyre are doing the bare minimum for dcfs requirements and hiring anyone. Please be careful when sending your kids here. :(

Been part of Chesterbrook for 8 years. Currently enrolled with my 4yr old. This site used to be fantastic & hopefully it can return to that stability for parents. However, currently it's a hot mess & no structure, leadership, or organization. High turnover of staff and admin, very poor communication, & no guidance by current principal. It's unfortunate & just being completely honest. Lastly, hours of operation have changed w/less than 72 hrs notice in middle of week for parents to find alternative arrangements & drop off has been a disaster w/ no staff on site for parents other day. Holding hope it improves.

For the price, better off at a public school. Nothing special here.

After moving to Naperville from Chicago we were hesitant transitioning our 1.5 year old to a preschool after hed been looked after by a nanny for so long. The sudden change in environment was rough for our little one the first few weeks, but Ms. Michelle was exceptional in helping him transition and become comfortable with his classroom. She even spent a few days just holding his hand during recess to calm his nerves and shyness around the new kids. He has been learning, socializing and thriving ever since. He is more than excited to start his day when we show up. I am always looking forward to the daily updates and notes about my son via the tadpoles app that the school uses.

Chesterbrook is best in class! There are a lot of great daycares in the Naperville area that we toured, but Chesterbrook really stood out to us. The teachers and staff are friendly, professional and genuinely love and care for each and every one of the students. As a first time mom, I was nervous about my infant son starting daycare. The teachers communicate daily through an app and gladly accept phone calls when I just want to check in and see how his day is going. We receive pictures throughout the day on the school's app and my son is learning and developing so much! We love Chesterbrook and could not be more pleased!
