She reminds me of the dr from dr house tv show. She a professional and excellent doctor but shes going to give you the truth and she thinks excuses are unacceptable. If you want a solution, see her. If you want to be coddled? See another doctor.

Dr Tan is an excellent podiatrist! She's a doctor that cares about her patients and her surgeon skills are next to none. I have told everyone about her and highly recommend her to anyone that needs a podiatrist! I'm very happy with Dr Tan and so are my feet!

I have a syndrome that affects the ligaments and joints of my feet and when she saw my feet, the doctor kept laughing at me about it saying she should bring med students in to show it like I was a freak. I just became familiar with having this syndrome, so I was asking her if it wasnt like a normal foot and she rolled her eyes like duh. Excuse me I had some serious questions about it as to how and why it was different. Yet she couldnt be bothered to answer my questions and just kept laughing. I left feeling very embarrassed and ashamed of my feet and mocked and laughed at. She kept laughing at me and would not respect me. I didnt even get a chance to discuss ordering shoes or orthotics for long term health of my feet. A waste of a visit and leaving feeling awful. I will say the one good thing was she didnt rush me into surgery bc she felt my foot would reject it and that Id need a heavier surgery but only in the future when in pain. I told Dr that my mom and I were on the hypermobility spectrum and she laughed and said spectrum! as if the word was funny. I found that demeaning. She also showed me another patients x rays off her computer so Im concerned my foot photos will be used by her to show other patients and I wont have confidentiality. Id like someone to contact me to destroy the photos to ensure my confidentiality especially since she doesnt really respect it. Feet are an embarrassing area and its important to go to someone with sensitivity and compassion not to be humiliated like this experience.
