Beware of negligent and abusive billing practices. They keep sending me a bill for services already paid for by my insurance company in hopes they'll be paid twice. BEWARE!! Completely unethical.

REVIEW YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! I kept getting bills from this place for routine blood work for multiple family members. The blood work was sent there by multiple provider offices. All the other tests at other labs were covered EXCEPT tests at this place (even though the tests are supposed to be covered under my policy). I noticed they had figured out a strange billing code with essentially no meaning ("other specified/unspecified diagnosis" z01.89) & kept using the same code which didn't match the diagnosis code applied by the provider as apparent on the copy of visit summaries I had. One representative told me there was billing error & they'd rebill but never did. Then I contacted the lab multiple times & requested to bill with proper codes but then other reps just refused. So the claims kept getting denied & I had to file a dispute with my insurance to get the claims resolved. It's hard to believe that this was an error on their part given same exact error happened on multiple occasions, for multiple family members & on orders from multiple doctors!! They get to charge whatever price when the claims get denied!! Does that sound like an incentive to use certain codes so the claims are denied?! Plus they refused to correct the billing.
