The good: The assistant administrator was nice. The reception area looked nice but that was it. The bad: The facility and equipment is older and not updated. The ugly: My mom was transferred here for hospice care in her last days. When I went for a tour it looked like a clean facility although I didnt see much staff. When my mom arrived, I assisted the ambulance company with her transfer from the stretcher to the bed because the staff didnt come to help. I waited about 30 minutes for the nurse to help me position her and get the sheets and excess linen from under her. He didnt come so I did it myself. After about an hour and 15 minutes I went to get him so he could do her admission and vitals. We did a skin check and he left. At the two and a half hour mark, the cna brought my mother a dinner tray and said she was going to attempt to feed her. At that point I said I was going to leave but I waited to see if she was going to encourage my mother to eat. I sat in the chair outside my moms room to make a call and about three minutes later the cna came out and said she refused to eat or drink anything. I went in after her and offered my mom something to drink and she drank three cups of lemonade. The next day, my mom was in the same position she was in when I left her. They said she refused to be turned but she was nonverbal and unable to refuse. When I returned the next day, my mother was wet, the facility had a strong smell of urine, and for the three hours I was there nobody came into my mothers room to provide any care for her. The hospice nurse and I did everything for her after waiting for an hour for the nurse and cna to come and assist us but they never did. Long story short, this is probably a decent facility for short term rehab and patients who are primarily independent and can do and advocate for themselves but for patients who cannot, I would seriously consider another facility.

Most nurses are overwhelmed and therefore quality of care is poor. The "doctor" is a joke. Had to take my loved one to an outside doctor to get a proper diagnosis. They will leave the patients in the same clothes for days on end. Most of the food is dismal. They serve sandwiches way too often. My loved one rarely had his call button within reach. I had to interfere when a nurse was berating a patient and yelling at him.

My father was placed at Arista after choosing to have a kidney dialysis catheter placed in his shoulder. Of the 3 rare in-house dialysis centres in Naperville, Arista was by far the best option. It helps that various staff also work at nearby Edwards Hospital. My father stayed for 10 weeks. The good parts: superb nursing, excellent diagnostic skills, no hesitation to call in experts when required and send patients out for specialist treatment when needed, availability of admin staff and nursing staff when a genuine problem arises, and genuine concern from every single member of the crack specialized physiotherapy team. It is obvious that there is information passed throughout the staff so they can correctly treat any new patient problem. The bad parts: because Arista is covered by Medicare, special attention is given to food costs, chefs are not always available and may even do double duty alongside other admin members so food is nutritious but bland, and there are job openings just like every other medical facility since COVID. In conclusion, if I needed rehab, I would personally choose Arista; I would simply take my noise-blocking headphones and a bottle of A1 Worcestershire sauce to cover any eventuality. A big thank you to Dr. Fang, Tina, Drew, Joe and Dr. Schulman, and nurses MaryLynn and Ophelia for their care throughout his stay.

Worked as a CNA here. Please do not bother. Complete waste of time effort and energy. The facility is very outdated and falling apart. The facility is short staffed. The Staff currently present does what they want (shows up 2-5 hours late and doesnt do any work) The facility is a Union and shorts pay. Will blame it on the DailyPay and Friday App and their gaslighting explanations wont follow the paystubs The facility does everything old school and outdated. Through paperwork nothing digital, towels, very old equipment etc Residents always refuse food because there are only two men working in the kitchen Predominately Filipino/Asian and Mexican Highly disappointed. Arista lost a very good employee shorting me $0.38 cents every paycheck which adds up to $400. HR doesnt care either Good luck
