I decided to try NewArc Investments since it's too difficult to try and run a small business and manage my trades individually. I was previously employed in the financial industry with a Series 7 and Series 66 License, and understand that an aggressive portfolio is volatile and will suffer major losses when there is a correction. That being said, NewArc decided to hold out on selling when the markets took a hit in December of last year, then decided to get out of all positions when securities were bottomed out, and for the first 4 months of this year, were unable to make any effective trades to catch any of the rebound. They are not a good firm to invest with, I would recommend going with ETFs or trying another firm that utilizes downside protection even for aggressive portfolios, or at least knows how to trade to take advantage of rebounds after a market drop.
