Karla is hands down an amazing physician assistant. Karla is beyond kind and knowledgeable. She makes you feel seen, heard and comfortable each experience. This one star review is due to the front desk staff and Jess. Unfortunately, on many occasions I have had the displeasure of interacting with the medical staff ( will no longer subject myself to that). The reception staff are disinterested in their job, offering little assistance on the phone and in person. Jess has acted like a disgruntled child a few times. Instead of explaining that she was overworked or that she was in a foul mood, she barged into the exam room without knocking and threw a piece of paper in my face telling me I should head down to the lab and walked out (without explanation). I proceeded to head down to the lab, and was held up, because the paperwork that was given to the lab had work that was performed in the office that was unrelated to the blood draw ( for what reason... I am not sure.. also HIPPA violation?). After10 minutes of removing services that had nothing to do with blood work that were listed on the lab paper, the lab tech was able to finally take me back for the blood draw. I have worked in the medical office profession all around the Chicago area and this behavior is beyond unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. Your health deserves better than what this disgraceful medical establishment has to offer at this time. Again, I want to reiterate that Karla is an amazing practitioner but no one should be subjected to the behavior of the medical staff that unfortunately is unavoidable.

I have been seeing Karla since the beginning of 2022 this year. I think Karla is an amazing doctor, but every single time I've made an appointment and gone in, the front desk staff is negative and very rude to me. I'm considering going to another doctors office because of the front desk staff. I never leave reviews but this has been bothering me for awhile. I have another appointment for Nov 14th to see Karla but unfortunately after this appointment I may be changing to a different doctor. It's unfortunate but it ruins my mood and makes me not want to even come in.

I have been a patient at DuPage Family Medicine since 2015. Karla has been incredibly helpful and supportive even when I moved out of state for college. She takes her time during appointments and makes you feel heard. I appreciate her honesty and attentiveness to any issues brought up. Additionally, Ms. Araceli Munoz in the office is exceptionally accommodating and communicative. She has helped me on multiple occasions with document and record requests in a friendly and timely manner. I would definitely recommend this office to any individual or family!

Called to make and appointment as a new patient and whoever the lady was who answered was just awful. Made me feel stupid for asking if they accepted my insurance & talked as if I was annoying her, like it's not her job or something. Should have listened to all the other bad reviews about this staff..I feel sorry for the doctors who loose patients

Best family doctors we've ever had for our family. Been going here almost 6 years now. They care and they know their stuff. Highly recommend
