Gayle Lee Mccloskey M.D.

I like Dr. Mccloskey a lot. She is thorough and takes the time to explain things to her patients. She is transparent and compassionate. It is the office procedures that have caused me to set this rating and also to find another doctor. Most of the staff are great. The office hours and phone system make it difficult to make appointments. I have been left on hold, transferred several times, hung up on, and had to make appointments for months in advance, only to be called and informed over my voicemail that my appointment has been canceled. They also said I had to drive to Naperville or Crest Hill for an Accutane teaching as these cant be done over a virtual appointment. This isnt the times people. If I can teach Kindergartners to write and count over Zoom, than we can be taught whatever needs to be learned about Accutane over Zoom. This has happened multiple times and I just cant deal with the policies and procedures of this office anymore.

Dr. Mccloskey is very thorough, very patient, and has a sense of humor. She helps make the patient feel at ease which is one the greatest arts a doctor can possess. Many doctors understand the science of being a doctor, but only the best understand the Art of being a doctor. She is in that special category.
