Dr LaVacca is superb!! I believe him to be the best Prosthodontist in the Chicago area. My upper partial turned out great and looks just like my my other existing teeth. It looks completely natural. With a few minor adjustments, the partial fit perfectly and doesnt impede my speech at all. My only complaint is that sometimes the wait is longer than Id like, but I highly recommend him otherwise!

Dr. LaVacca and his team have been nothing but professional since the first day I walked into their office. Very friendly and incredibly flexible with my travel schedule. They clearly go out of their way to find appointment times that work into my schedule vs the other way around like many other dental practices do. Quality of work is as excellent as it gets, highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Lavacca, because he is a board-certified Prosthodontist specialist. Some of his the reviews say that he is the worst human being, charges extra, and he is a car salesman.
This is a Blatant lie. Dr. LaVacca is one of the most CARING DENTIST, I have seen in my whole life and I have seen many of them, and Ive had inferior dental work my whole entire life!!!!
His advanced knowledge, allows for him to fix problems that other Dentist cannot.
I know, as I had several implants fail. Dr. Lavacca remove I'llthe failing implants and placed new implants with bone grafting. I now have new teeth again AND WITH NO PROBLEMS.
Yes it did cost a considerable amount of money, But in the end it was all worth it. I would have saved money if it was done right the first time !!!
Obviously the other reviews in this Google review, are people who either did not want to pay his fees, or could not understand the detail of knowledge he provided them about their dire situation.
Without reservation, I highly recommend Dr. LaVacca, and his amazing team.

If I could give more stars, I would. My dental plight was at the level of needing a prosthodontist for restoration and rehabilitation of dental/oral function. Dr. LaVacca had been recommended to me so I had a consultation and was amazed at what could be done but eliminated him as a possibility because I needed someone "in-network" for insurance purposes. I had consultations with 3 other prosthodontists who were "in-network". One made me uncomfortable personally, one had a plan but required me to see other specialists in other locations which required me to coordinate the care myself. The last one actually wanted me to give him details of Dr. LaVaccas treatment plan so that he could try to recreate it. I then knew where I needed to be. I went back to Dr. LaVacca. Dr. LaVacca is a veritable virtuoso in this field and all of the care and labs are done in house. My case was practically untreatable, but his knowledge, skill, creativity, empathy and state of the art equipment made an impossibility, a possibility. His expertise is beyond anything you can find in a medical book, school or conference as he truly is a gifted and talented genius. He did everything to perfection from A-Z for me (bone grafting, implants, crowns, bridges, midline adjustment.....and more). In addition, he has a phenomenal Office Manager, Amelia. She worked with me to ensure the insurance issue wasnt a barrier and created a plan that met me where I am. When I shared my extreme fear of dental work because of bad childhood dental experiences, she made sure I had options that mitigated the anxiety and fear. On the day of surgery, she actually took time to come in the room to ensure I had what was needed and to provide reassurance. When I was reluctant to resume treatment at the height of COVID, she checked-in on me and listened as I explained my reluctance to come in due to loss of someone I cared about to COVID. This is above and beyond her duty but she and Dr. LaVacca are simply wonderful human beings. With Dr. LaVacca having Chicago Blackhawks as patients and people who can afford to fly back and forth from Egypt for his care and doctors who come from Argentina to train under him, one would think he would treat patients differently based on socioeconomic status. I can attest to this not being so. Dr. LaVacca treated me as if I were one the patients with my own private plane. He took time to explain the importance of, and relationship between dental and heart health. He listened attentively as I explained my fears about dental work and was collaborative in the approach to a treatment plan. Each time he treated me, he was keyed into my cues as he worked on me and would stop and ask if I was ok. He is absolutely brilliant in his technique yet thoughtful, conscientious and humble. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. LaVacca, Amelia and this practice. In addition to giving me back good health and a great smile, I experienced the gold standard in dental care. I end with part of a Maya Angelou quote that captures my experience with the care from Dr. LaVacca which says you may forget what a person said, but you will never forget how they made you feel. Many thanks to Dr. LaVacca for restoring health and wellness and making me feel a sense of equality.

What can I say about Dr. LaVacca and Dr. Ibrahim, They are amazing and I miss them dearly .I had the pleasure and honor of working with them for almost 13 years ,and tho i have moved away they will always be close to my heart. Not only are they amazing dentists but they are amazing people.In the past 13 years i have watched them give back to community , military, and so many life changing causes that my list would go on forever.But the very best Part! was the way this family (yes i have always considered them family) encouraged others to give back as well coworkers , patients any one who would listen and isn't that what we are all supposed to be doing.So if your looking for a Fabulous team to treat you respect , compassion who are masters at the art of what they do , try them out i know you will be as blessed as i was and always will be.
