Overall, food quality is ok, but still on the sweet side and they use a lot of garlic, which deceivingly makes people think the food tastes good. Their service, on the other hand, is among the worst I have ever experienced. Staff have this poker face which is not welcoming. A few of them are just flat out rude. As an example, I overheard that they swore in Cantonese that the customers used up 1/3 of the seafood sauce. The went on and complained that not only they had to waste their time doing the refill, but the amount the customer consumed cost nearly $1! They also swore on people not tipping well. What kind of customer service is that?!
Additionally, they have no sense of personal space. Not only they kept interrupting our lunch conversations being in and out removing finished dishes, unused and used silverware, but when they did that, their body parts were literally in our face.
Its been at least 1.5 years since we last visited this Joy Yee. Our visit today will most likely be the very last one, unfortunately.
