Condensation trapped in the ceiling (see reference), double doors that will never be repaired (UPDATE - repaired in late Aug. -Sept. 2020, but locks cannot be used; see reference), and the worst is that he will accuse tenants of causing damage, rather than fulfill his obligations as a self-proclaimed property owner.
The absolute worse property management - older building with holes in the ceiling that never got repaired, air circulation issues. We incurred years of product damage due to the high humidity and contained moisture from rain caused by unrepaired roofs.
In maintaining the health and safety of staff, we've posted a notice for entrants to call so we can let them in, yet the dictator "property owner" Mokhtarian barges in and bangs on the door as if the sky were falling during a pandemic and non-operational hours without any notice.Very nosy (borderline harassment), swore, yelled and loves to threatens. He forcefully pushed our glass door (had there been a child, it would have slammed his/her head and resulted in an injury), which banged into my arm.
"I don't give a sh*t. I can have you ... ," Mokhtarian said on Aug. 18, 2020 before noon.
Aug. 26, 2020 UPDATE: Mokhtarian has been stopping by every day, harassing staff and scaring off customers. 8/25, his son threatened staff and today, the father threatened staff without any cause.
"It's my property and I will stop by any time I want to," Mokhtarian said.
Wearing masks indoors during COVID-19 is an Illinois state mandate, yet Mokhtarian and other SD&S representatives continue to enter facilities unmasked.
If you are seeking a honest, professional property owner, run from Mokhtarian's SD&S properties, who acquired the property from previous owners. Pursuing legal suit is also recommended.
The previous property management company was extremely professional. If you're seeking white collar professionalism and not back alley service, look elsewhere.
