    If you book an appointment and you confirm that the appointment is booked, that is enough confirmation. Cancelling peoples appointments and giving them to other people is just trying to squeeze as much money as possible. I understand that you need to pay the electricity and what not, but don't try to paint this place as "made for the community" when you use that kind of strategy. You don't care about the community, you care about filling your time slots.

    This is the best dentist in the Quad Cities! I love how he takes the time to care for your individual needs. Very clean, professional, friendly, and helpful. The ladies who work with him are always so sweet and professional! They are very helpful and always gentle when it comes to care. This is the dentist I will be seeing for life! Love this place! Absolutely would recommend to anyone who needs dental care. Thank you for all your help!

    I went the day that I was scheduled only to discover that they had rebooked my appointment to somebody else, all without giving me any notice. Their explanation was that I did not confirm that I was going (although they had sent me messages confirming that they were ready for my appointment both the day before and one hour prior to it, even saying that they were excited to see me) When I asked to reschedule, only spot open was in two more months (and I had already waited two months for this appointment). While I understand that they get booked pretty quickly, it is unacceptable to just "dump" people who are trusting in your care, especially if you advertise your establishment as a caring member of the community. People's time is also valuable, so this was just sad to experience. Update: I scheduled with a different clinic and the care there has been great, answering any questions and using clear communication during the whole process. So yeah, the experience with Troy Roeder DDS PC clinic was not the norm, they just happen to have really bad patient intake ethics/practices.

Again, we apologize that you feel our confirmation policy is excessive. We understand that some patients may be more responsible in remembering their scheduled appointments, but most appreciate the reminders. In turn, we appreciate that our patients let us know they remember their appointments by confirming via text or call, so we can reserve the time and prepare for the appointment. As you stated, in a previous review, you feel that we simply gave your appointment to another patient. Please know, we made several attempts to reach you to confirm the appointment, but we never received any response from you. This could have been avoided if you would have only taken our call. Please accept our sincerest apologies regarding your dissatisfaction in our confirmation policy.
