Avadyne handles the billing for UnityPoint Health. This company is terrible. Nearly every payment I've tried to make has had some sort of complication and none of the customer service reps are able to help.

Made a payment 2 business days ago. Have confirmation of payment and payment posted to bank account. Spent 30 mins on phone with no relief, besides stating they would get back to me within 1 week.

These billing middlemen are unethical, lazy and took over 9 months to resolve a simple request. Unity Point Meriter should choose a new servicer. Reps are not knowledgable at all and rush to get you off the phone. Every time there is a supervisor needing to be involved, they never are available. Bottom line is these people just don't care about patients or actually solving your issue. Just a lot of dead ends and run arounds.

  • Thank You (Have a nice day)

The management is a joke. The training course and trainers are rude and make you feel small when you make a mistake, or even when it isnt your mistake at all, they will still find a way to make comments towards you and make you feel as though it is. They act as though they have never nor can ever do wrong. They are very unprofessional. They talk behind your back like little high school girls. If you have issues with your computer, password, or log in information, the trainer from Moline, will make you feel stupid. The trainers get off topic a lot and start talking about other things that are not job training related. I took my time and wrote notes and read everything front to back, cover to cover, maybe even twice. Other new employees during the training course would fly through everything. I asked one time how in the world everyone else got done so quickly. The one trainer from Des Moines says Im sure they only read what they wanted. Oh, ok. I guess thats the kind of employee they want. To half @$$ everything. Sorry, thats not me. Obviously, that didnt bug the trainers at all since they made me feel as though I was doing something wrong and never once addressed the other employees making sure they actually understand what they half @$$ read. Avadyne Health needs a better training course and trainers. The one trainer from Des Moines loves to say Well, I was on the phone by my 4th day., but that was only because her trainer never showed up. She says this stuff like its suppose to make her look good. Lol When you walk into work, into the training room in the morning no one goes out of their way to tell you hi or good morning, nothing. Which you would think the trainers would, at the very least. Wouldnt you want to make a good impression and make the new employees feel at ease and set a great mood for the day? I mean, the trainers are representing their company and they are the first ones new employees see. They never do though, and it just goes to show you how unprofessional they are. Im sure if upper management happened to come in, the trainer would be going out of their way to say hello to them. I would go out of my way to tell others good morning. I guess I was raised better and actually have manners. The trainers need additional training on how to be inviting to all employees, respectful, courteous and how not to treat/belittle new employees or anyone for that matter. They are not well liked at Avadyne Health, as I have heard from other employees. Someone obviously needs to let those two know that. If you have questions or make mistakes during your training period...DONT! Upper management, supervisors or leads never come around to introduce themselves, check on you, ask how you are. The regular employees were wonderful, especially in the FACS department.
