        Best place to stay in McHenry! The rooms are comfortable, but the mattresses are little too firm.

        My wife and I reserved a room over the phone weeks in advance, to include our pet. We stayed 2 nights. During check in Miriam pulled our reservation up and copied my Drivers License and presente4d me with 2 key and said enjoy your stay! Checked out Easter Morning at 10:00am to find later that day we were CHARGED $ 250.00 because Steven Kroll ( MRG) said we failed to register our pet and bring him to the desk upon check in! Sadly there is nothing that can be done about it, as he stated " Go ahead and call Corporate they will only call me and I will not delete or reduce the fee). POOREST THING I HAVE EVER HAD HAPPEN. The neighboring room kept us awake from 3:00am all night we called front desk and it continues.. HMMM>VERY POOR MGMT

        Worst place to stay because the mgmt peoples ..even when we are honor members , I really felt over power , rudeness from the manager Mr Steven , wonder if it was discrimination again my Latino race . So never stay there again . Very disappointed they are welcome pets, but mean sure your dog don't bark cause the extra charge for , can be over 200 dlls !

        The room was perfect for 2 adults and 3 kids. Would even work well for 3 couples. Spacious, clean and updated. The fro t desk service was nice as well as housekeeping, breakfast staff and the check out personnel. The location is great. Only a few mins away from home for a quick little staycation to kick start spring break. The pool was clean, warm and not busy at all. Plenty of towels to dry off with as well. We will recommend this location to anyone looking in the area. Can't wait to stay again!
