Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I've always had a consistently good experience at cracker barrel. The gift shop is a little overpopulated with frivolous items, but I'm not there for the gift ahop.

We were seated approximately 6:55 PM 04/09/24 at Marion IL Cracker Barrel. 5 minutes later a server came to take our order. Our order of drink/food was given at the same time. The coffee was brought lukewarm, never mentioned it to the server. 20 minutes later the server brought biscuits/gravy to get us some food as the kitchen was slow. The refill on coffee was hot which was better. The Maple Bacon Chicken plate was ordered with sour dough bread. No bread came. The food was good, just seems that service has problems. This is not the first time we have experienced this.The entrees came 35 minutes after ordering. When asked at checkout how our visit was I said not the best....didn't have time to speak with management.
