Super 8 by Wyndham Marion

Where to begin...this hotel should be demolished and rebuilt. I cannot believe that Wyndham is associated with this brand. Believe me, you get what you pay for. Every employee that we came across was top notch but the beds, stained towels, paper thin towels, old tv's, decor...it all needs to go. Had to stay here as this hotel was the only one with availability during the eclipse of 2024, and we booked a year in advance! Again, every employee we came across was fantastic. At least give them a hotel they could be proud of! Definitely would not stay again. Rooms: HORRIBLE

Update: After several stays I still book this hotel when in the area. They have updated the lobby and the rooms. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. I had a reservation so check in went smoothly. My room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. All the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, in room coffee and small refrigerator. My air conditioner/heater worked quite well, and the front desk staff was friendly. The television had a great selection of channels and a good picture. Breakfast is standard hotel fare, I cant eat it but the guests I talked to said it was good. All in all a pleasant stay. I've stayed here before when work has me in the area and will do so again.

Stayed one night. It was nice and Ms. Ann at the front desk was very kind. Very clean and free breakfast.

This well worn super 8 is nothing to write home about. The breakfast was disappointing. Cold biscuit and watered down gravy was disgusting. The waffle maker and toaster kept throwing the breaker. Fire hazard? The beds were old but fair. The room's cleanliness was iffy. The shower was ok. While the lady was nice the one staff member was overwhelmed. Food & drinks: Avoid.
