I wish that I could give 0 stars. I hired Jeff to help handle my deceased mother's estate as he was the one who drew up her will/trust. Gave him $1,200 and ALL he did was submit the will online.Nothing he said he was going to do was done. I ended up firing him because he literally did NOTHING besides submit that and answer a few emails, calls. I have been emailing for the last 7 months asking for the remainder of my retainer back because he did NOT do $1,200 of work. He has not responded to emails or texts. RUN! DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY. DO NOT HIRE HIM UNLESS YOU WANT NOTHING DONE AND YOUR MONEY PRETTY MUCH STOLEN.

I hired Jeff McCarthy almost two years ago to file a fairly simple Qualified Domestic Relations Order from my 1998 divorce.  That Order was so I could receive my portion of my ex husband's retirement package.  This "package" had previously been determined with my divorce.  I paid McCarthy in full for his services at the time of hire.  I am STILL waiting for that Order.  I've gotten a laundry list of excuses as to why I have not gotten my Order, and for the past 6+ months McCarthy has refused to return my numerous phone calls or to send me the information I need to contact my ex husband's employer.  This money is truly needed.  I have been a licensed paralegal and been employed by several law firms so I do know how the legal system works.  I would NOT recommend Jeff McCarthy for ANY legal work.  I am so sorry I ever hired that man...he basically stole money from me!!

McCarthy is a good and hard working man he took my case years ago on custody of my son. Yes, he won the case and we fight to the end, but it was hard and went though hard time and another lawyer recommend to him and he got the job done. Thanks McCarthy you the best and i will advise anybody to use him for a lawyer. God bless his heart and his family. Peace and Love

Jeffrey has been appointed as a GAL for my custody case. I called him last minute on a Friday with some issues I was having and he was able to quickly help me out and resolve my issue. I also had called to make an appointment with him and was able to get into the appointment the very next week. Speaking with him I could tell he truly has the best interest for the children in these cases he takes on, he listened to me very thoroughly, and asked me some questions. And most importantly understood my reasonings behind some things that have gone on in my case. He also was able to give me good advice, and was straight forward with everything he had to say. I can’t say weather my case is almost over or not. But whatever the outcome I trust that his decisions made will be non-biased on both sides and truly what’s in the best interest of my child.
