Forward Emotion

I've only been seeing Laura for a few months but the progress she's helped me make is amazing. I have a great therapist, but after years of processing my trauma history he determined that EMDR would be my best option for more fully healing. I see Laura through telehealth so I was a little doubtful about how helpful EMDR could be over the computer, but she is a master. She weaves internal family systems therapy into the process and I can feel my parts integrating. I can feel myself moving from a place of fear, guilt and shame, where I was DEEPLY rooted for many many years, into one of healing, self-compassion, and wholeness. Our work is not done but I just cannot praise her enough. I'm so glad I stayed on that wait list.

Laura Clay is an unbelievable therapist who is incredibly adept at helping guide patients with trauma through murky waters. She never makes you feel pressured. She is able to teach confidence and self worth through simple interactions. I have done more self examination and developed more self-love in just a few sessions with her than I have with any other therapist over the period of 10 years. I can not recommend her highly enough!!!!!!!!!

Laura has an amazing energy. We met while in graduate school and our paths continue to lead to each other. I am drawn to her calm presence, her kind spirit and her spot-on clinical observations. She is a wonderful therapist that I highly recommend.
