Hannan & Associates was the worst experience I ever had with an accounting firm. I have worked in the financial services industry for 40 years. I would never use them again! Terrible experience!

Didn't file my taxes as promised despite me turning in all documents and signed engagement letter. Wouldn't even return my calls when I asked for my return. Had to call IRS myself and realize she never even filed. Now I pay the penalty when I had everything turned in to her  by February. No apology, no explanation, no response - very very unprofessional.

I have used her for a few years then this year, after meeting in person with Becky Hannan and signing an engagement letter and turning in all of my tax documents- she didn't file taxes. Called her on 4/20/22 to ask when I would get my return and she told me "by the end of the day" Called several more times, left messages, sent emails, and no return was filed and no response to my emails. And now I owe a penalty with the IRS and am filing late. The most unprofessional thing is "ghosting me" and not even responding. Asked for my 2020 tax return to give to my new accountant and she sent it to me- (legally she has to) but all other voicemails and emails left with out a response. She wouldn't even let me know she didn't file. Please trust me, I never write comments negatively online, but feel compelled to prevent others from making the same mistake I did.
