There is a nurse named Ruby Meyers who I saw. Her bedside manner is horrible. She is a very scary nurse. She treats people like they are below her and she always seems in a hurry. It makes me wonder what she does with people who can't defend for themselves. Beaware of her.

Nurse came for 3 weeks and saw brusing on Mom's arm.She is on Warafin (blood thinner) and bruises very easy.Her wrist was bruised, This could have been from me, therapist, bather or even nurses giving shots.?? Nurse did nothing for 2 weeks and then called Police for Abuse. Police didn't see any bruising, doctor at Hospital didn't see any bruising. No explanation or apologizes from staff. I could have lost Mom because of bad nursing skills. Do your research when hiring a nurse- good communication and make sure the nurse has some medical experience. If they were good- they might be working in medical building or hospital.. I would never recommend Palos...

2 days ago we called to get hospice for my Dad. We told this office of the pain he was in. Least compassionate care ever. We still do not have a call back. Crickets. Horrid. It a time of need Palos Hospice is not there.

My mother recently passed while on Palos Hospice. I highly recommend finding a different hospice other than Palos. The final 6 days of my bedridden dieing mother's life, the assigned nurse never came to see my mother. She abandoned my mother and us during this most difficult, painful time. My mom did not deserve this in her final days. She was an incredible mother. Please, look for a different Hospice as we never felt comfort and support with my mom's R.N.
