Molar extraction and implant went very smoothly. Dr. Figueroa and all the staff are very professional and caring. Office is very clean and I was seen on-time for all my appointments. I would highly recommend.

I have since heard back from office who did NOT address the issue that HER front desk person who made the appointment for an extraction of a tooth TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE COVERED BY MEDICARE. I fully understand that Medicare does not pay for dental procedures BUT since the person told me it would be, I thought they were using a billing code that MEDICARE did accept. This office should educate their employees and not lead patients into office under false pretenses. This is classic misinformation. ________________________________________________________________ I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me post until I did. ****Incompetency from the first phone call at this office. The website says they take traditional Medicare. I called and the person who made the appt took all information and stated that Dr. Steinberg was only doctor there who took Medicare patients. I was quite STRONG many times on the phone that he took Medicare and Blue Cross supplement. She said YES. I waited 6 weeks for appt, got there today to find out that he DOES NOT TAKE MEDICARE AS THEIR WEBSITE STATES FOR A TOOTH EXTRACTION. I told office manager that that was specifically what I asked for when I made the appt and the girl said no problem. Office manager tried to apologize but what can she really say? "My staff is imcompetent?" I took a day off of work and waited 6 weeks for nothing! Totally disappointed and disgusted with the incompetency. Do not make an appointment because, as I said, they quote the wrong information. & believe me, I am not shy about what I needed from the very first contact. I am so disappointed!

This is the worst place I had visited. 1. I needed to remove a wisdom teeth. It turns out to be 5min simple procedure in another place. In this North Suburban Center, they told me to do a 3D CT and said my insurance will cover it, but it eventually costs me $500. 2. They even asked to do a coronectomy will remove the crown of the tooth. Here is where it got suspicious. I asked my insurance company and they said they wont cover. The craziest thing is that when I told North Suburban Center they still say it will be covered. I feel they lied to me just to let me do the expensive CT and unnecessary procedure. Luckily I sensed their dishonesty and went to the other place. It only takes 5min to extract the tooth and it costs nothing!
