I went to Moes Catina in River North on 10/28/23 for the Halloween night. We arrived promptly at 10:30, and the line was down the block, hitting the corner, which makes sense for a V5 Halloween night. What doesn't make sense is that it took an hour to get to the middle of the line, and when there was finally a poster stating that you could pay to skip the line there ($50 to cover, which is $73) per person... My cousin paid for all three of us to skip the line because it was raining. The bouncers and cops in the front had so much miscommunication they kept forgetting who were VIPs and letting the general go in. So we waited another 30 minutes ( too late now since we paid and they don't offer refunds), and we stuck and managed to get in. Only to find out it was still empty inside and the table and chair weren't put away yet from the dinner/lunch that they offer. This new scheme to make money by seeming overwhelming packed was disgusting. DJ was right; my group tried to make the most of it since it was so much to get in.
