Pros : Friendly Staff, Great Equipment , Good at calling to make sure all is okay, discuss payroll. Medical benefits Miles are up and down, mostly down. Been here 6 months Hard to understand some dispatchers because english is not thier first language and some don't speak it well. Cons: micro-managed, your number is published to brokers and they call at all hours . Advertise $1250 a week minimum but can't get it . Given wrong addresses to shipper or receiver , no phone numbers to contact shipper or receiver for instructions , they send you to VERY tight places a semi shouldn't go. No vetting the broker ,just fly by seat of pants. Low pay $$ No communication between night and day shift . Don't get taken off work.by a doctor!! First thing they'll try to do is seperate employment ! (Law suit ) Supervisor doesn't listen when you talk to them about your concerns, better things do than thier job I guess . There's so many company's out here that aren't as crazy with holding your hand to do your job. If you need to be told what to do, where to park, have dispatch try to run the truck for you, instead of you making your route / safety decisions , this is the place for you. This is just my experience , not everyone's is the same ... Very bad taste left in my mouth , from a promising company , stand by your advertised rules/pay .

Drivers should not be cutting in front of other drivers to make turns into truck stops especially loaded with freight that is bad customer services at its finest if the load shift and your drivers truck gets plowed into next time thats on you. Driver tried to approach me twice I spent years in the service no one needs to walk up on nobody like that. I am not pleased with the way you guys operate. In an unsafe mannner. Safety needs to figure out who that guy was people out here carry guns now so not only did he put himself at risk but also the truck and equipment. I myself dont carry when Im operating but theres a lot of people that do he could have meet the wrong driver today.

Spoke to a recruiter for your company the other day, they sounded like they had a million more important things they could be doing, kept trying to turn everything I said around on me, and they kept coming up with reasons as to why they didnt think Id be a good fit for your company. This is the second time this has happened. As a driver with 9 years of experience, this is very concerning to hear, I guess I just expected more from a company with your reputation in the industry

Gp Transco has great equipment well maintained, the pay is what most companies offer, the miles makes the difference, has a fast pace for pick up and delivery most times but I enjoy the challenge even with speed governor (65-67)still deliver/pickup on time. 4 weeks out or the longest I wish to stay. (Texas driver) Trucks have very cool stuff like CarPlay microwave and fridge, you can bring a tv or cb radio and shop will installed it for you. GP is all about safety so bring your Bluetooth headset. Dispatchers are human theyll work with you, patience and communication its key for a successful team. Pet friendly and passenger ride free. Update! I love working here am treated with the respect I was looking for recently got a pay raise after 6 months of employment the fastest I ever gotten one.
