You cannot beat their prices, some items are as much as half the cost at other food stores, such as Jewel. And the staff, especially the manager were also great.

Love aldi, but have noticed fresh veggies are not as long-lasting as they were in the past. I had individual plain hummus I had to return today that had been stored incorrectly somewhere along as both packages were swollen, and they tasted very sour as fermentation had started.

I went in today with my toddler and she started to having a tantrum. I tried to purchase my stuff in a hurry in self check. When all of a sudden I'm being yelled at by a cashier 2 registers down telling me I needed to leave. I ask what. He said if I couldn't control my toddler and basically shut her up I had to leave. Said I was disturbing other customers. I asked who other parents who I bet understands how it is having a toddler. My daughter stop crying and I told him "oh she stopped can I stay now" he said yes since she stopped. After arguing with him I asked for a manager. And left without purchasing anything. As I was leaving other parents said he was in the wrong.

I was going along, loving the layout. Loving the lighting. Loving the clean store. Finding everything I was looking for. Just 2 problems, 1. Not one employee had a smile they all looked like they couldn't wait to leave. 2. Only 1 check out person, still no smile, tossing my items in the cart. The employees smiled at each other but nothing for the customers. Won't be back.
