Visionworks Westfield Louis Joliet Mall

- Writing from my partner's account - I've been coming here for five years, but as of recently, I won't be returning. The service has deteriorated. I felt absolutely terrible coming here. The front desk staff are not the warmest to interact with, and they give off an air that they can't be bothered. At one point when I returned, I had my prescription snatched out of my hand. I was *shocked* and advised this staff member it was not appropriate conduct. Doctor was very nice to interact with, but altogether, not a customer-service oriented place. Also checked other reviews and realized I was not the only one who experienced this....AVOID THIS VISION WORKS!!

The doctor and her assistant were awesome in every way. Listened to my concerns and even made the experience very enjoyable. But the 2 ladies in the front were not approachable nor did they smile. I came in a few days before our appointment to provide my insurance info and both seemed inconvenienced. Definitely was thinking of going somewhere else. But glad I didn't. Again the doctor and the assistant what truly a pleasure.

The dr was awesome. She took her time to make sure my prescription was right. Her assistant was also great. The front end associates today were not friendly or overly helpful. They didn't act like they are happy to be there. The girl that helped me when I was there a couple weeks ago was great.

The Hispanic female front desk has terrible energy and always blames the customer for her mistakes. The African American boss manager made me reschedule and appointment because she disrespectfully intervened in my conversation with price checking and making sure I can afford my exam and glasses and told me I have a 10 grace period and since I was 1 minute late to a 1:40 with no other customers other than myself and the staff in the store and since my eye glass and my contacts appointments werent on the same day I have to pay another eye exam fee when my eye prescription isnt expired yet and I have no contact or glasses whatsoever and I told them I have to make it to a funeral and this is an emergency appointment. The actual eye doctors are great the staff is HORRIBLE.
