        This was mg first time booking with Dawn. On 3/26, I went on StyleSeat and booked an appointment for 3/28. I received text from Dawn the afternoon before my appointment confirming the time. Around 6pm, I get another text saying what hair I should get. By then I already bought the hair and apparently it wasn't good braiding hair. It wasn't mentioned while booking nor during the confirmation text what kind of hair. Around 8pm, I get a text saying that's she's double booked because StyleSeat isn't her main booking site and the other braider did not want to take it. I was asked to change my time to later in the day which we agreed. Around 10 pm I get another text saying that I can come at 11. Next morning I get a texting asking to come at 12 because she was running behind. By that time I made arrangements for my child and was on my way which was a 30 minute drive. While there, I was working but her children came up to me asking me to open food for them multiple time. Also, since she was double booked, she kept switching me in and out of her chair with the other braider. By the end of the weekend I noticed that my braids were fuzzy and my hair was sticking out. I also noticed that there are different sizes of braids. On April 1, I text her in the morning asking if she was in the shop. Didn't get a response. I ended up going to the shop and she nor the other braider was there. I called her twice around 1pm. She asked for me to go to the shop and see if the braider was there and if not then she would come to my home to fix my hair. She wasn't aware that I had gone to the shop already. By the end of everything, I was tired and wanted to leave it alone. I won't be coming back and will wait until my 13 year old niece is available to braid my hair so I can pay her to do my hair.

        Dawn was very knowledgeable and took her time while doing my hair . She was prompt and her space was very peaceful. I will be back !

        Horrible service she took 5hours just for a wig install on top of that didnt finish her job correctly my first and last time ever going DONT RECOMMEND

      So sorry to hear your remarks about your experience here with us, we are a growing family and business! That’s right, it takes a village to raise a child! These babies have been shop babies since a couple months old on this earth 🌎, and this is a first I have heard in the 4-6 years they have been here with us in the shop. But of course we rarely see villages amongst our people and our people helping one another. Well God does see everything, and we both know you are not being completely honest, but-let us let the people be the judge of your hair before you left the shop 2 weeks ago and these pictures you just posted 2 days ago. You ever heard the saying “Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see”… prime example! Or what about the crabs in a barrel 🦀🦀… okay so I told her I would take her and try to fit her into my schedule or at least have assistant Braider help me. So even after I squeeze her in and take time away from my loyal customer to ensure her braids were on point for her Birthday weekend, I receive these ungrateful words of madness. Informed her of the hair extensions and warnings of the not so good quality of hair for Knotless braids; it is my assistant and I who are to blame… we braid down so far and even the hair extensions are braided down but still coming unraveled , even the hot water didn’t help as much….but honestly, she looks as if she wet her hair or went swimming at this point. Check out her pictures before she left shop, hair so beautiful… but how do you expect nice results two weeks later and steps are not being taken to ensure long lasting protective styles. Imagine, when she called me to help her with the couple braids she mentioned, I told her I was 40 minutes away, should be there in 45 minutes, and she said well I can come to your home so you don’t have to come to the shop… can you imagine?? I told her that I would do better than that and I will come to her home… never heard from her again until this post… and to think I waited for her and had my hair bag packed and ready to go, smh!
