When we arrived at the hotel, they told us that the dog we had with us, will cost 30 dollars a night and that the pet rooms don't get housekeeping. This was a surprise for me because they didn't tell me about these extra costs before and also that we wouldn't get the housekeeping. Pay more for less service. We booked for 6 nights. Coming into the room, there were ants walking in de bathroom and one night, they were even walking in my bed. I asked the staff for the housekeeping and they apologized for the ants and provided a kind of housekeeping, but only once in two days and not without asking. To me it is strange that your guests complain about ants in the room, that you charge them extra for the dog but don't just clean the room every day to keep the ants under control. Even after I told them we took the dog, so the room would be empty. The staff was very friendly though, except one day we were waiting at the reception for several minutes and the guy kept continuing his private phone conversation without helping us, that is not very friendly to me. Staying in this hotel was not a very bad experience, but next time I won't book this hotel again.

I differ in opinion from the other reviews in that the guy at the front desk with the cap on was very polite and accommodating. He may have been the best part of my stay. The hotel is a bit janky! Huge potholes in the driveway. We had to drive down to the other door because the elevator was broken, which I understand can happen. However, the other elevator was so beat up, and that enterance had at lease 50 cigarette buts lying all around. I think the staff goes out that door to smoke regularly,. The garbage can was overflowing there too. The breakfast on my first morning was awful, ran out of eggs, coffee and whole milk. When I asked, I was given a snotty retort, by a very unfriendly woman. The 2nd day breakfast was much better!! (different woman maning it!) Spend the few extra bucks and stay at the Hyatt next door. Their breakfast is excellent!
