I have been a patient at Chestnut for over 3 years. They're GREAT!!! They will bend over backwards to help there patients. Other facilities or clinics I'm familiar with play the prescription game. Which is they always threaten to pull your Suboxone which should be the last thing done. That's not how you get results. I understand this is my experience but I've referred 2 friends to Chestnut & they can't believe how they put up with being treated badly because they was afraid they would cancel there Suboxone. T

If you are in crisis or have mental health needs that you actually need addressed- avoid this place it will only make things worse. This place was a terrible experience for anyone trying to get help for mental illness. My therapist acted like she didnt care or even know what to do, therapy was filled with awkward silence, it was weird. The behavioral clinic is hard and frustrating to get into, you have to be awake early and try to be the first to call, every single day. I tried a month and gave up. The medical clinic was a joke, the crisis team needs to be fired and hire people who are actually skilled in crisis work. I was held up for over an hour by them and couldnt even see the real doctor because it was so late. I never saw a actual doctor and I never got a referral/diagnosis/medication. The front desk told me I didnt owe anything & then I was later billed. I paid my bill though the phone and the lady said eveything was taken care of, now Ive got another bill in the mail & I havent been there in months.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Actually, -10,000 stars. This is the most stressful and exhausting place I have ever dealt with. In the last two years my daughter has been shipped around to 8 different counselors because their turn over rate is so high. The lack of communication is astounding-especially for a place that focuses on Mental Health. My daughter has now been without medication for 6 days because I was supposed to schedule an appointment that I was told NOTHING about by a nurse that doesnt EVEN WORK THERE ANYMORE. This place is HORRIFIC. I wouldnt recommend it to a single person walking this earth.
