Very happy with Montoya Tree Service. They came yesterday and removed a dead tree, trimmed 2 overgrown trees, and removed quite a few overgrown bushes as well. Very efficient and did a great job, cant even tell there were 8 foot tall bushes there before. The arborist was also very informative and helpful when she originally came for the quote. Thank you!! Owner Javiar has been forgetful of his promises to call, promises to show up at given time for estimates. This is NOT what a professional is made of. Yesterday, Montoya came out and did a combination of tree removal (2 large trees), trimming a dead branch from another tree and removal of some invasive Buckthorn growth. We couldn't be happier with the experience. The team arrived promptly in the morning. I reviewed the project with them and they went to work. Watching them work told me that these guys knew what they were doing. Everyone knew what his job was, and this made for a very efficient operation. In 4 hours they were finished and had cleaned up the work area. The very large trunk pieces wee stacked in the front yard near the street. They told us that these would be picked up today, along with the stump grinding. As discussed, the pickup truck and grinder showed up at about 8:00 this morning, and finished the project. The quality of the work was excellent. One thing that stood out was the extent the crew went to to be sure that the work areas were clean when they left. Had them come out to remove tree stumps from my back yard. They worked with my schedule, and did all six stumps without issue. Everyone was friendly and did their best to not damage anything.
