This doctor lacks compassion, doesn't listen, has little concern about a child's over all health, and doesn't value the parents input when the parent has been managing their child'd health issues for longer than she has been involved.  Find another doctor.

This is the absolute BEST doctor I have ever had, and as someone with Lupus/Chrons I can promise I see many. Dr. Nelson was the only doctor to listen to me as a child and is the sweetest doctor you will ever meet. She kept my Chrons symptoms in check for years and took so much extra time out of her day to check in with me and my family despite us being there almost every week. She had such a great impact on me and my family that we still talk about her even though we have not seen her in years (I had to stop going when I turned 18). The reception staff are so kind as well. Anyways, this is a fantastic practice and your kids will be in good hands here!

Dr. Nelson has been our gastroenterologist for seven years. She has been an outstanding physician for our family. From the time of diagnosis through successful treatment, Dr. Nelson has been spot on. She is highly intelligent, has excellent clinical acumen, is thorough and compassionate. She is able to relate to both the child and the parents. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson without any reservations.
