Golden Wok II restaurant

We had a favorite back in our old town so we had to find something close. We tried a Chinese restaurant in downtown Wheaton and shortly after they closed (the owners retired), so we needed a new one, haha We found Golden Wok and havent looked back! We love the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, anything spicy, all the dishes are delicious! Not greasy like some Chinese places. We will order again soon!

Just picked up some shrimp szechuan for lunch and it was very filling. Also veggie egg rolls were excellent. There is no option to dine in. Just pick up or delivery

We love Golden Wok II. It's been our go to since we moved into the area. Sunday we had the BBQ Pork, Golden Wok fried rice, and the Dinner combo #10. The pork was great and the fried rice was yummy as always. The dinner combo, Mongolian Beef Lo-mein, just the right amount of spicy, vegetables and meat cooked perfectly. My only problem with the beef was the ratio of noodles to sauce, was very dry and had lots of noodles left over. Maybe there's a different noodle option to go with there? I'll keep trying. The fried rice that comes with the dinner/lunch combos would be nicer with everything in it like the normal fried rice orders. They seem just a little different in the combo than with a normal order. Their sesame chicken is great, general tso's chicken is also real good, and the egg drop soup is the perfect thing when feeling sick. We will definitely continue to keep coming back.

This was my first time trying Golden Wok 2 in Lombard/Glen Ellyn. The food was fresh and very good. I had General Tsos Chicken and ordered it medium spicy and it was the best I have had at any restaurant. My wife had Shrimp Fried Rice and it was excellent. Even the Egg Rolls and Almond Cookies were delicious!! This restaurant will now be my number 1 for Chinese take out.
