NOTE: This review highlights issues that many other reviewers experienced. Mine is not an isolated incident. I'm not sure about the quality of their work but their estimation process is horrible. We were sent to Service King - Geneva by Allstate to get an estimate on rear collision damage. My daughter arrived at her appointment on Monday. She was told she'd have the estimate by Monday evening, but it didn't arrive. Same for Tuesday. On Wednesday we contacted Allstate for assistance. They called and left a voicemail as well as messaged them. Thursday, we STILL hadn't received the estimate so around noon I called Service King. The call rolled to their Palatine location. The person I spoke with attempted to reach Geneva with no success. At this point I'm beginning to wonder why, when they'd received a message, the estimate wasn't viewed as an issue that needed to be resolved. I called again and selected the corporate option. The same person in Palatine answered. I explained the situation after which she noticed it hadn't been written up. She assured me she would get right on it. Hours later, still nothing. I called Allstate again who is placing it with a review team that works with shops the recommend (indicating they're taking this seriously). The agent attempted to call Geneva... left a voicemail and sent a message. I spoke to Allstate again later. Again, voicemail and sent a message. Multiple voicemails and messages and still nothing. I went to the location to press them for the estimate. The lady I spoke with printed it out then called Dominick up to go over it. After answering my questions I let them know my frustrating experience regarding this process. I was given the, "It's not an excuse, but...." Adding the word "but" makes it an excuse. I would have preferred they show integrity by saying , "We're sorry, we have no excuse..." rather than attempting to make their mistake not their mistake. Again, I have no opinion on the quality of bodywork. It may be very good. The other processes in their workflow and ability to own up to a mistake should give at least pause in using their services.
