Yes, we really enjoyed it for our second year. The only downside was having to ride four people on one cart. It was very hard for us Senior Citizens to sit on the back seat and hold on for dear life!

The tour was a lot if fun and very informative, The guide was great giving the details and history of the canal. I'm also glad that someone took the kitten home.

This was my first canal cruise and I thoroughly recommend it to others. We got to enjoy the fall foliage and fresh air while learning about the history of the Hennepin Canal system. Our tour guide Zack (aka Executive Director of the Geneseo Chamber) was a fountain of information about how the canal system was conceived and built, local flora and fauna and the present-day uses of the remaining links of the canal. It was sobering to hear about the challenges the canal system faces with its aging infrastructure and lack of funding for repairs. The Friends of Hennepin Canal are to be commended for the work they are doing to preserve the system for the future generation.

Our tour guide was funny, very knowledgeable and passionate about the canal and its preservation. We really enjoyed it. We are planning on doing this next year ! Thank you!
