Julio Torres team at All My Sons did an absolutely amazing job getting us moved. Incredibly hard working and careful, which is difficult to find in a moving company.

I was moving 6 items 3 blocks from my dad's apartment to mine. My Father passed away. Loveseat bed 3 dressers TV small kitchen table 2 chairs. They came late. 4 movers came. 2 where supposed to me. One guy kept repeating himself going over the paperwork. There was a couch in living room I was not taking they simply had to just bring it to the alley and they busting it up in the house. Young fools where doing the move. I had to pay for 3 hours it took 45 minutes and the worker kept saying they get good tips. The bottom of the dressers where chipped like they dragged it. For the TV they had nothing to cover it. No moving blankets it was horrible the movers they sent were not experienced just punks hopefully there gone not professional at all. Charged 587.00 they tell me I have to pay tape.ALL A NIGHTMARE.

As others have mentioned, there's no option for 0 stars otherwise that's what they would be getting from me. We've never had such a terrible experience with a moving company. We had to move out of our current residence for remodeling work being done around the holidays. The awful experience with these guys started during the first move out of our house. The contract was to assist with packing and moving. The plan was to place our items in a storage unit. When we booked the move, the person assisting us said it won't be necessary to pay the extra money for full reimbursement for damaged items. Don't listen to them if they say this. We did and it's costing us. He also mentioned he took care of the storage unit for us and got us a great promotional rate. We decided to call the storage unit to confirm and they said we had to make it there that day before closing time to sign paperwork in order to lock in our $30 promotion rate. The storage unit is an hour away and we wouldn't have made it in time. Luckily, the storage unit company honored the promotion through the next day. Again, if we didn't call the storage company and listened to All My Sons, we would've been charged over $200 for storing our belongings for 3 weeks. The crew showed up late and completely unprepared. They showed up with no packing supplies at all and stated their paperwork said it was only a move out and no packing involved. Our paperwork we signed showed packing and move out. The crew said they couldn't move us that day without supplies. After going back and forth for a bit, they had to wait for another crew to show up with supplies which further delayed us. The crew broke a few items we noticed during the move out process i.e. light fixtures. The way they packed some items was awful i.e. monitors thrown into a box on top of other items with no protection. The crew was also pressuring/basically bullying us for a larger tip because they had to pack items and it wasn't in their paperwork. Don't fall for this trap either. The crew said to save us the hassle of going an hour away to the storage unit with them, they could take the items without us and leave the key at their office. We shouldn't have agreed to this either, but they made it seem as if this was standard. After almost 3 weeks of being in temporary housing, we were ready to be moved back in. We were told we have to be at the storage unit and it's against policy for them to keep the keys for a customer. Not sure why they allowed it during the move out process, but this is what we were being told. While at the storage unit, the group moving us back in to our home was packing up their truck and pointed out various items that were broken/damaged from the prior group during the unloading. Bookshelves crumbling/falling apart, night stands broken, dishware shattered, etc. While placing the items back into our home, we noticed the previous crew lost hardware to furniture that made it impossible for this crew to put back together. The 2nd crew damaged walls, more furniture, dragged items across new hardwood flooring and making it nonrepairable unless we redo the entire room. Furniture wasn't even assembled properly such as our sofa chaise just placed next to the sofa, headboard placed against the wall but not attached to the bedframe, desks missing certain screws causing the desk top to move back and forth. The list goes on and on. The response we received from All My Sons was file a claim. We've done that and the amount they were willing to reimburse us is nowhere near what we need to cover replacements and fix our floor. Please save yourself the heartache and headaches from using these guys and use someone else. If you still choose to use them, pay the extra costs to be fully reimbursed for any damages. It's going to be worth it.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Let me tell you about the nightmare that this company has put me through and how our issues STILL has not been resolved and is ongoing. Let me start with the events leading up to the actual move. I talked to 5 different people up until the day of the move. Every person I spoke to had different information in their system than what I told them in regards to the amount of boxes and furniture I had that was being moved. I was told the price estimate would be $859 for 3 guys. I never received a confirmation email and nobody told me the amount it would be for any additional hours. The communication was atrocious. It was so bad that on the day of the move, the main guy leading the move (Matt) kept talking about how the dispatch guys always type in the info wrong and he kept saying how he wasn't happy working for the company and was leaving soon which made me uneasy knowing I booked this company when their own employees hate working there. Now let's fast forward to moving day. The day the guys came for the move, they brought 1 mid size truck. I knew right away it would not be enough room and Matt said that's what they told him to bring and that the dispatch guys make these mistakes all the time by not providing the right amount of trucks for a move. Matt wanted to see if we could fit it all in one truck before calling for another truck. Once they loaded up the first truck, we had to wait almost 3 hours for a 2nd truck to show up with another guy. 3 hours that I was charged for because they did not provide the right team or amount of trucks to begin with based on the original information I gave them from the first call I made to the company. I felt like they did this on purpose to charge me more money. Not to mention that the moving team they provided had 2 guys on it who were new and 1 guy didn't have experience wrapping things which made the move even longer due to Matt and one of the other guys being the only ones who could wrap furniture. As they were moving my furniture into the new house, there were several pieces of furniture that were damaged due to bumping things against the walls. The baby crib, mirror and TV were damaged. My OLED Tv was the most expensive item that was damaged and I actually had to replace the screen. Our main mover Matt took pictures of everything as well. When they were carrying the TV out of the unit and into the new one I explained to carry it from the bottom since it is an OLED TV and the screen I fragile as it's made of one sheet of glass. When they moved it in the glass dislodged from the base and I think something bumped it hard in the truck since you can see the green/red/blue pixels on some spots of the screen and the glass not getting a good connection with the base. When they finally finished the job, which took way longer due to all the hiccups we had, Matt called another guy in the dispatch center to take my payment and passed the speakerphone to me. The guy on the phone told me my total cost was $2739 which was WAY more expensive than what I was originally quoted...almost 350% more! I told him that there's no way I'm going to pay that as that was not even close to my estimate and explained all the issues we had with the move. He told me that was "not his problem" and that I would have to take it up with customer service after the fact. When I gave the phone back to Matt, he looked at the total cost and was talking to the gentleman on speakerphone and said "Wow that's his price?" The guy on the other end of the phone laughed out loud and said "Yea man crazy right?" It was as if he was mocking me and laughing because they had just duped me and ripped me off. Our move should have NEVER been this long. If they had the right info in the system to begin with and brought over the right amount of trucks and team members, my move would have been a lot shorter and I would have not been charged as much. There is more to this story but I can only use a certain amount of characters for this post. I will try and make a 2nd part shortly.
