Matheny Heating and Cooling

id like to start by saying my family and i have been customer's for over 10 yrs, myself almost 6 with my own home. Ive had many service calls in the past and had amazing service. Quick, reliable, and very well priced. I needed a new furnace in March 2023 and had them install it, since installed ive had now 4 service calls as the furnace has not functioned properly on a few occasions. It will run then shut off and blow cold air only, and will not cycle off. Mind you i have a warranty and service warranty. The issue is, now that its warranty work and not paid service seems like the great service had disappeared. Last service call, i was able to get my heat working on my own, so they decided that was good and didnt need to look at it, this time was told they would work me in. At that point i was upset. Work in for service that has already been paid for? Had issues right after install and on going, but we are not a priority. Not to mention i pay for all service same day, in cash...including the new furnace. im very disappointed in this after all my years of business and loyalty to a small family run business.

Kyle does good work. He is fast and thorough. Although maintainance contract went up it is still more reasonable than the previous company I used. Service: Heating system maintenance

The company did a maintenance work and change some spare part on January with the guaranty that it was enough for keep the furnace working for a long time. At the time I asked the technician if it was best to change the whole system or do what he planned to do, he answered that the furnace was still with many parts in perfect state so there was no need to change it. It wouldve been better to change it taking into account the ammount of money I payed. After 8 months the furnace stopped working and it is now completely useless after having paid the amount of $1,300. The technician went to take a look because of the guaranty and explained that this said damage had being caused by the renovation of the A.C. Without any technical report and Knowing that these are different systems in the same box but with nothing to do with each other. Bad service. Bad quality. Bad guaranty response. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
