This was my first time visiting VISIONWORKS. I scheduled two appointments, one for me and one for my daughter, while my daughter was on Spring Break. These appointments were made 4-6 weeks in advance. My daughters appointment was at 10am and mine was at 10:30am because the 10:15am appointment slot had already been filled. I responded to every confirmation text I received (including one at 2:57am the morning of our appointments) and filled out all of our insurance forms, when texted, ahead of time. We arrived for our appointments at 9:48am and when we checked in I received two text messages saying that our appointments had been rescheduled for 10:45am and 11am. When I asked the staff member assisting us, turns out it was the general manager, why our appointments were rescheduled, she said that we never confirmed our appointments. Seemed strange considering they had received all of our insurance information and we didnt need to fill out anything else. While sitting in the store waiting for our appointments, the woman with the 10:15am appointment walked in and was told the same thing. They had rescheduled her appointment for 11:15am. Meanwhile, we are all sitting in the store waiting for our appointments as those that had filled our appointments are friends of the general manager. How did we know they were her friends?!? Because she was carrying around the baby, showing them all behind the scenes in the lab, etc. and generally ONLY assisting them. The woman with the 10:15am appointment noticed this and became very vocal about it. Once we were finished with the doctor, customer service was still lacking even though there were four staff members in the place but only one of them was working while the general manager and the other two were standing around talking. They literally would not help us checkout. We waited, again, for this one staff member to wrap up and help us checkout, as well. I was there 2 hours and 10 minutes and, outside of picking up my daughters glasses, I will not be back.

Vision works is a great place to go for great service and reasonable prices for your eye care and glasses.

I love this location. The staff is so personable and caring. A big shoutout to Caleb B. he is the best!
