Avoid this rental management at all cost, especially if you are dealing with manager Alicia. She is ruthless and some of her business practices appear shady. They ask for all transactions by mail and paper only, no electronic forms, only cash or check.
My employee rented an Apartment from them, paid 1 month rental ahead, but could otherwise not see the place prior nor meet them because he & wife were arriving in O'Hare from out of state. The management asked that my employee bring check or cash on the day of arrival to pay an 1.5 months worth of deposit. He could not prepare the check ahead of time due to certain circumstances and was planning on getting cash upon arrival. Long story short, plane was a tad late, he could not get cash, his pin did not work, and A & N is not accepting Zelle, Venmo or any that. By the time I saw missed messages on the phone 20 min later, they already left and made sure that my employee & wife are out of the house and on the street.. I left many messages with Zeneter, the cleaning person who made sure that and Alicia. Z at least had the decency to pick up the phone, but then said that my employees "broke the rule" (really? broke the rule because my employee thought that he has Zelle, Venmo, Credit Card, Paypal and ATM, just happened to not have Check? or broke the rule because the ATM did not work suddenly) and that she sees nothing wrong with putting a young couple in the middle of the night on the street. Alicia then had the audacity to cancel the whole leasing contract altogether when her practice was criticized.
