I can't say enough about the job Hazlett and Mertz did on the large gut renovation of our 1880s Victorian home. They were extremely organized and efficient in managing all aspects of the project, from scheduling contractors to staying on top of budgeting. Their attention to detail ensured that steps weren't overlooked and that every task was completed with precision. They worked closely with us throughout the entire process to make sure we were satisfied with every decision made along the way. Their expertise and professionalism made this complicated renovation a success!

We were recommended to Ken Hazlett by a neighbor who did a substantial remodeling job on their house, similar to what we had in mind. So many other architects we spoke with were cold and, in a couple of cases, even arrogant. Ken is completely different; his personality and disposition is infectious - he fills the room with good cheer. At the same time, he plays it straight - he lays out the game plan from the start, and is a stickler for detail, all the while remaining open and flexible to new ideas.Ken also acts as his own project manager, and in that role, he made sure that someone was at our house every single day. Our remodeling job was done 3 weeks early!
