Do not do business with this company!
Hired my husband to work as a delivery man. Worked one day without being asked to fill out any payroll paperwork.
Was told that afternoon that they were "slow" and his services were not needed the next day. Today they called back and told him his services were no longer needed because it wasn't a "good fit".
When pressed for more details he was told that he was too slow and "lost paperwork", which was not put on the boxes back at the shop.
My husband is an honest hard working man, and given that they did not have him fill out any paperwork, I do not believe that they will pay him for the work he did!
**update, after three weeks without having received his check, we followed up and they had "misplaced" the check. They did us a "favor" by cutting the check as a vendor payment instead of a payroll check, because that would have further delayed the check until the next payroll payout. Pretty sure that is illegal...
