I have been using these retriever rolls( 10" ) for 2 years .They have been consistently great . However ,the last 2 purchases have not . The 10'' rolls suddenly started have all these chips and sharp slivers in them .You could actually shake them out of the rolls after it had been chewed to open up one end To the companies credit ,they took back the first batch and sent me 12' rolls at no cost . Well I ordered 10" rolls again and -same issue . I asked them about it . They responded that their test showed some loose pieces but they were not deemed a safety hazard and were within except able product standards . Well ,my 2nd batch was even worse than the first bad batch . So I had to throw those away because they both put small chips all over the place and my dog could chew up a roll in minutes ( it used to take him hours to chew one up). I let them know that the problem was worse and they did not respond to me at all So just a heads up -the 12' rolls do not have this issue at all ( literally no chips inside at all inside) -stay away from the 10" rolls ,there is something that has changed in the way they are made and the company is not yet ready to admit it . Good company but someone there is not stepping up and admitting that there is a problem. I'm going to have to find another place to get the quality I used to get from them . Sad but true
