        Unless you are 100 percent sure you are doing business with this company, do not let them even do an estimate. My basement flooded, they came to my house to do an estimate. NO work was done and they charged me 1000 dollars. They stated I signed paperwork promising I would use their company and that money would go towards the work. In the midst of chaos, this very well may have happened and I take blame for not reading fine print, but it was not explained properly. When you have something happen to you home, you rely on these companies and insurance to help, not to take advantage. Such a gross company to take advantage of people during these times. Their excuse was that the 1000 dollars was to cover all the hard work the estimate took. As if they don't get paid hourly already. Just beware of this company and read, read, read before you sign. I would hate for anyone to have to lose money like I did.

        We had flooding with the thaw a couple weeks ago. Servpro of Elgin/ Northwest Kane County was at the top of the list we received from our insurance company. Servpro was also highly recommended by our local Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce. We called and expected to have to schedule someone to come out due to the thaw and large amount of homes flooding. Barry with Servpro was on the phone right away getting us everything we needed within the hour, out to our house. He was in constant contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed to dry up our basement. Barry guided us through every detail of our emergency. He made the calls, connected with our insurance company. We hope we never need him or the company again, but will never lose the phone number, just in case.

        Great experience. Project manager Chris and internal member Cathryn provided great communication during the renovation. Toni and the construction team were very skilled in multiple trades and were able to complete the job fast and without issue.
