Anderson Hospital ExpressCare Edwardsville

Took my daughter there a month ago because we thought she had strep it was late and it was the CLOSEST URGENT CARE open I got my insurance EOB in the mail and they arent billing it as an urgent care ,, billing it for an EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT.. really?? So instead of a $35 copay they are trying to charge me $250 .. ridiculous needless to say Ill be fighting this charge very desceptive .. They should tell you thats how they will bill you , and after reading all the reviews Im not the only one thats dealing with this scam!!! FYI GET YOUR CHARGED UP FRONT !!!

I read all the reviews on ExpressCare at this location and Im glad I came anyway. Its Saturday afternoon and there is no one here. The staff were so nice and welcoming. I was able to get simple x-rays and a radiologist diagnosis in about an hour. While I love the BJC clinics, simple x-rays were only done M-F during business hours. As administrative employee in the medical industry, its not always convenient to get simple x-rays during the work week. I really appreciated the Anderson staff being able to fit me in and listened to my concerns. I would definitely come here again!

The pro was a clean facility and I got in quickly the con is the Dr didn't ask me anything different then the nurses asked me. After being told my strep lab was negative I was given no aid or consultation. I wasn't helped nor felt seen but boy was I charged. You will get charged twice for this facility. 467$ just for the visit 129$ is a separate charge by the Dr (who saw me for possibly 3 minutes) Not to include any labs done. I would not suggest this place as the quality of service was so severely less than.

Anderson Hospital Express Care is not a true "urgent care" facility. In my case it resulted in higher charges to my insurance co and my copay amount. Be Aware!
