Buyer beware!!! They dont show up when they tell you they will. I had materials I had already paid for basically stolen from my yard and they never finished my project. Breached my contract, left my house unfinished and didnt clean up the mess they made. I advise staying clear of Cardinal Catastrophe!!!

Business Response on Google Jan 15th, 2024
We regret to address your concerns publicly, but transparency is crucial. Cardinal Catastrophe Services values every customer relationship, yet there are instances where our commitment to professionalism and fair treatment becomes challenging.Let us first clarify that we did fully restore the client's roof according to specifications outlined by the insurance claim as well as additional work at no charge. And, the decision to end the contract with roofing work, forgoing the additional exterior work, was a decision made as the best option for both parties. A mutual agreement was reached amicably. Furthermore, it is our duty to inform you that Cardinal Catastrophe Services vehemently disputes the veracity of any claims of theft or misappropriation of materials. Our company adheres to a stringent chain of custody, and the suggestion otherwise is not only unfounded but also damaging to our reputation.Your project, handled by our Executive General Manager Ed Halvorson, faced unprecedented challenges within the industry that he let you know he could not control, namely material shortages and delays due to weather, as well as additional struggles with communication preferences. Despite our efforts to accommodate your requests and address your concerns, it appears we fell short of meeting your expectations.Ed went above and beyond, investing over $2000 of additional work, including chimney demolition and subfascia installation, with no charge. Unfortunately, your constant refusal to engage in phone conversations made effective communication difficult. We attempted to adapt to your preferred text and email communication, but it became increasingly challenging to convey essential information. To reiterate, we cannot control issues of material shortages, nor Mother Nature's interference with weather conditions preventing us from performing our work.Despite our best efforts, the situation escalated to the point where Ed, in the interest of both parties, suggested completing the roof and issuing a full refund for remaining work. The decision to discontinue further projects was not taken lightly, but it became evident that the relationship was untenable. And again, this was agreed upon by both parties. It's essential to clarify that the police involvement and negative reviews alleging material theft are not only baseless but also damaging to our reputation. Cardinal Catastrophe Services takes pride in its integrity and ownership of materials in the chain of custody. We’d like to point out that the chain of custody of materials is always that of Cardinal Catastrophe Services, not the homeowner. In other words Cardinal owns the product we deliver. Any materials not utilized, especially in the case when labor will not move forward, are retrieved for return. Therefore the call to the police was nothing but a sour grapes tactic to harass and intimidate. We issued a full refund promptly, along with a certificate of completion to facilitate the release of depreciation for the work completed. Our commitment to resolving this matter professionally is unwavering, and our legal team is actively addressing the unfounded accusations of slander and tortious interference. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position and hope for an amicable resolution. We trust that a thorough reevaluation of the facts will guide your future actions and encourage a resolution that reflects the truth of the matter.
