The Embassy suites in East Peoria is very nice. Its clean and quiet, and everybody is very friendly.
The gentleman making the omelettes this morning was awesome. Barbara and Keisha are amazing. They were very helpful, professional, and kind.

We were coming from Indianapolis, Indiana and staying for the night before travelling home to Minnesota. I would agree with the overall assessment of the rooms, getting dated and the bathrooms could use another once over, but that was minor. The view of downtown made up for it. I want to comment on what we thought we the best part of the place - the made-to-order omelets! I had a conversation with the chef that day, Albert, and the omelet that he made was one of the best I have ever had. Not only was it delicious, but it was quick too. I have no idea how he made an omelet on high heat and did not burn the outside. My teen daughter, whose birthday was the day we stayed, said she got an early present with the omelet she received. She says it was top notch and that Albert deserves a raise. I agree, this place is very lucky to have a person like that with such skill. Kudos!

The view was nice on the 8th floor but the first room we were in smelled like cat pee or throw up. They moved us to a second room and the second room has a broken couch and door lock latch. We called again and they are moving us to another room, hopefully better. The website says that there is a hot tub but there is not one. One of the staff was helpful but the rest wouldnt even answer her questions. Pretty disappointed in them :/
